We accept equipment for repair from all over the world. If you're unable to find a pro service center near you then you're welcome to ship it to Poland. Call or email us for details.

Repir of defective DV Firewire port in Panasonic camcorders and VCRs.
Euro Cori specializes in repairs of missing communication via firewire port in Panasonic equipment: AG-DVX100, AG-DVX100A, AG-DVX102, AG-DVC7, AG-DVC15, AG-DVC20 (NV-MD10000), AG-DVC60 and other camcorders, AG-DV1000, AG-DV2500 and other VTRs. Both PAL and NTSC models.

Most service centers will not replace the BGA IC (Ball Grid Array), either because they don't have a sophisticated service equipment or simply don't know how. That gives you the only option, which is a costly main board replacement.

Euro Cori gives you another option: a replacement of the DV controller. You will save your custom camera settings, the factory settings for white and dark balance, back-focus, hour meters, etc., and what's most important: it will be fast and cheap.

Repair time: 2-3 business days, express services also available (only a few hours on the bench).

Repair cost (parts and labor):

  • DV Firewire controller replacement: EUR 122,00 (USD 160,00) tax included
  • DV port replacement: EUR 50,00 (USD 62,00) tax included
  • DV controller protection replacement (if the processor itself and the DV port are ok): EUR 56,00 (USD 76,00) tax included

Important: We do not charge for the estimate if the equipment you send us has an obvious firewire problem.
